Basium

Basium Home began as a research initiative exploring sustainable textiles and responsible production methods. It later evolved into a sustainability-focused brand centered on low-impact homeware and easywear.

The research phase focused on identifying environmentally responsible materials and production methods suitable for the European market.

The final material selection included linen grown in Belgium, buttons made from milk protein and coffee grounds, cotton stitching, and elastics produced in Europe.

The products were designed with a focus on comfort and functionality, supporting an active everyday lifestyle while maintaining a modern and flattering aesthetic. The business strategy prioritized long-term sustainability and financial balance over rapid growth.

The brand’s mission statement “A foundation of fewer, an embodiment of better, designed for dream and discover”, emerged directly from the research process and was translated into a visual identity that felt authentic, inviting, and curious.

Content production followed a resourceful, low-budget approach, paired with thoughtfully designed brand elements to create a refined and cohesive brand presence.
